Celebrate and PRACTICE Martin Luther King Jr. Day (this Monday, January 19, 2015) with a special yoga practice, appropriate for beginners to advanced folks, and any newbie who wants to just be craZy and give it a try! 9-10:15 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Champaign (Prospect & Devonshire – a few blocks north of Windsor).
The class will give special emphasis to remembering our individual and gathered strength, resilience, and hopefulness! We all CAN do something. The class is completely donation-based in support of the food pantry at Grace Lutheran Church, Champaign. Please bring cash, check, and/or items appropriate for a food pantry. Let’s raise a ridiculous amount of money. This food pantry is completely volunteer run, providing food to people in need in our community, two days a week. That is a lot of work, in case your wondering. Volunteers arrive shortly after we start Wake The Heck Up Yoga at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays!
Come and be inspired and empowered by yoga, for the LOVE of all things!
Please bring your own mat if you have one. Several mats will be available to borrow, if you need one. Look for a large sign with the Daily Bread Yoga logo, that’s the door to come in! Registration is not necessary, but if you have questions, let me know!
peace on your head,
Rachel
